Columbia City Theater’s Live Take on Bob’s Burgers Should be Wild

Columbia City Theater’s Live Take on Bob’s Burgers Should be Wild

Over the last seven seasons, Bob’s Burgers has developed loyal audience, and even won a Emmy award for Outstanding Animated Program back in 2014. So while plenty of the folks at Have a Heart Skyway can recite lines from the show, we’re pretty curious as to what the Columbia City Theater’s staging of Bob’s Buns! Buns! Buns! will be like. But since the friendly budtenders here are always up for an adventure, we think this could be an entertaining evening, especially if you pre-funk with some of our flower, concentrates, or edibles. So here’s what we know — and what we think. According the description on the Columbia City Theater’s website, Buns! Buns! Buns! is based around a “lost episode” of the show, where Bob gets food poisoning, and has flashbacks about choice moments from the show. Given that there’s a fairly extensive cast list, we’re guessing what audiences will see is some new — non-Fox approved — sequences which tie together a string of scenes where the performers act out some of the scenes from the show. There’s also the promise of a banned Bob’s Burgers commercial, which we’re betting is entirely fiction and based around the jingle in the clip below. Now, this isn’t the first time Bob’s Burgers has made the leap from the small screen to the stage, as the television cast did a series of table reads back in 2014, and this version has been performed in Portland as recently as May. Reviews were hard for us to come by, but we think Bob’s Buns! Buns! Buns! sounds like one heck of a good time. Of...

How to Keep Your Place from Smelling Like Weed

How to Keep Your Place from Smelling Like Weed

Not sure if your place smells like weed? Try this: Go outside, and run up and down some stairs – or around the block. Then, re-enter your place and take a big sniff. Getting the blood pumping is how professional “sniffers” reset their noses when testing perfumes, coffee and other things that require an on-point sense of smell. If you’re a regular weed smoker, you’ve probably gone nose blind to the smell of your own house – and airing out the weed smell every now and again is a sure sign that you’ve graduated to adulthood. But how do you keep your place from smelling like weed in the first place? Have a Heart has some suggestions. These are great for apartment living where the whole building shares an air circulation system. Invest in an air purifier or try some all-natural odor eliminating products like activated charcoal, or a spray with odor-eating enzymes. Switch to vaping! Vaporizer pens deliver cannabinoids directly to the brain without carcinogens or a smell that lingers – they’re the perfect option for people who...
