Fall is upon us, and we just realized we were having too much fun outdoors to partake in our usual love for summer blockbusters. Fortunately, the coming months feature an impressive lineup of theater-worthy films. Everyone knows the best movies start rolling out at this time of year, so here are four fall movies we won’t be missing.
Of course, before you head out to the theater, stop by your favorite cannabis dispensary to pick up some appropriate supplies. We’ve got you covered with an array of fine bud, as well as cannabis wax, glass, shatter, and delicious pot brownies, cookies, and candies.
Flatliners
A remake of the 1990 hit starring Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, and Julia Roberts, this thriller follows a group of medical students who become addicted to the high and subsequent power they derive from “flatlining,” or triggering near-death experiences. It’s all fun and games until supernatural forces intervene. Starring Ellen Page, Nina Dobrev, and Diego Luna.
Why do we want to see it? This is a brilliant premise with a strong cast. And while the original was pretty good, it wasn’t such a classic that a remake feels uncalled-for.
Blade Runner 2049
This one could go either way. It takes major cojones to make a sequel to such a beloved property, but we’re just glad it’s not a remake. Set thirty years after the disappearance of Rick Deckard, this installment stars Ryan Gosling, with Harrison Ford reprising his role as Deckard. Fingers crossed!
Kingsmen 2: The Golden Circle
With their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, the Kingsmen cohort finds new allies when they join forces with a top-secret U.S. organization. The first movie wasn’t brilliant, but it was fun, and this promises to be more of the same, with kick-ass special effects and cheeky antics from Taron Egerton.
Star Wars
Do we have to explain this to you? Nope. The Force Awakens rocked, and there’s no indication that The Last Jedi will do anything but blow you away.
