On Monday, January 30, just in time to chase away your winter blues, you can see Academy Award-winning rapper, songwriter and producer Juicy J at the Neptune. It’s a stop on the 36-date Rubba Band Business Tour, sponsored by cannabis lifestyle media company Merry Jane.
“Your friendly Have a Heart budtenders will be more than happy to help you select the perfect complement to your evening from the wide array of quality flowers, pre-rolls, topicals, beverages, cookies, brownies, caramels, truffles, hard candies, and other amazing snacks.”
There’s nothing quite like smoking weed and big beats to improve your mood and make you feel like springtime is just around the corner. Even if it’s all the way across town and traffic is backed up to the 520 bridge.
Seriously, winter in Washington is long, and we’re only half way through it. By now, you’ve no doubt had it with the cold, rainy weather. It’s easy enough to smoke a bong hit, hole-up on the couch, watch TV, and try to forget the cold and grey that’ll be hanging around like a deadbeat roommate for another three months. So Juicy J at the Neptune is a way better idea — why not warm up the winter by lighting up some fine recreational marijuana and heading out for an evening of live hip-hop? You can leave your deadbeat roommate at home.
Rapper, songwriter/producer, Belly (who is definitely not the ’90s band fronted by Tanya Donnely) and Memphis-based rapper Project Pat open up the evening. To get the party started, stop in at Fremont’s best weed store. Your friendly Have a Heart budtenders will be more than happy to help you select the perfect complement to your evening from the wide array of quality flowers, pre-rolls, topicals, beverages, cookies, brownies, caramels, truffles, hard candies, and other amazing snacks.
Tickets are $36 in advance and $38.50 on the day of the show. You can buy them online here. The event is all ages, but there is a bar for those with I.D. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the show starts at 8:00. The Neptune is located at 1303 Northeast 45th Street in Fremont. Call 1-800-745-3000 for ticket information.
