Bothell’s Preservation Kitchen is offering a Thanksgiving feast. Swap a week of cleaning your house for dinner at an elegant hilltop estate, with waiters to whisk away the dirty dishes. Prices range from $46-$68, depending on your choice of entrée. Kids can eat for $15. The menu includes house-made milk rolls, cheese puffs, candied yam timbale, roasted root vegetables with crème fraiche, and baby greens with beets. The full plate entrée choices are a turkey dinner (with gratin, stuffing, haricot verts, and cranberry jam), a filet mignon and braised short rib plate, and squash and ricotta ravioli. Located in downtown Redmond, Matt’s Rotisserie and Oyster Lounge allows each person in your party to choose his or her Thanksgiving meal. Entrees range in price from $19-$39, and include a roasted turkey plate (replete with traditional fixings), slow-roasted prime rib, wild sockeye salmon glazed in bourbon, and rack of pork with scalloped potatoes. Naturally, pumpkin pie is also available. The upscale setting is easy on the eye, but still casual enough to make you feel at home.
Take a field trip to scenic Snoqualmie to dine at the historic Woodman Lodge. For $58, you can choose a soup or salad, a special side, a dessert, and a choice of turkey, stuffed pork loin, or prime rib. Better yet, all entrees also come with sausage fennel stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry relish, a vegetable platter, and “endless gravy.”
