Strains For: Olympic Sculpture Park

By Diane

The Olympic Sculpture Park is adjacent to Myrtle Edwards Park on the waterfront in Seattle. This popular place was created in 2007 and is operated by the Seattle Art Museum. Budtenders at Have a Heart Belltown had a blast walking around Hempfest this last weekend with so much to admire closeby along the Elliott Bay Trail.

Paved paths wind through the park, offering views of the Space Needle and Seattle Center to the East. To the West, ferry boats travel back and forth in the Puget Sound with the Olympic Mountains rising up in the distance. The pier is located South along Alaskan Way, with attractions like the Seattle Great Wheel and Seattle Aquarium.

Art and cannabis go together like peanut butter and jelly. The dreamy and contemporary compositions that fill Sculpture Park are experienced all the better with a little pot from Have a Heart Belltown! Recommendations for this destination include creative, chatty and uplifting strains like Golden Pineapple flower by Phat Panda, XJ-13 available in shatter by Noble Farms, or the Lemon Ginger Dream Tonic by Legal Beverages.

After a jaunt through this captivating park, kick the munchies at one of the many great restaurants nearby. Taste Cafe is located within the Sculpture Park and features locally-sourced snacks and brew, while The Old Spaghetti Factory a few blocks away is a historic watering hole with classic pasta dishes. Uptown Espresso and Starbucks are also within a block or two, if coffee is calling your name.

The Sculpture Park is open daily from 30 minutes prior to sunrise, to 30 minutes after sunset, 365 days a year. This makes it a wonderful Seattle spot to get some golden light photography in! If you enjoy the refined things in life, snag some high-quality cannabis from Have a Heart and experience fine art near the heart of downtown Seattle.
