If you’re a fan of fresh food then you need to check this farmer’s market out. It’s hailed by customers as being the best in the Seattle area. Be sure to visit on an empty stomach because there are usually plenty of free samples to taste.
In addition to the food, you are likely to find a variety of flowers, art, and friendly people. It’s open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Woodinville Whiskey Co.

Washington is known for having fantastic wineries but Woodinville Whiskey Co. proves that wine isn’t the only delicious beverage that the residents of our lovely state can produce. The place is rustic and puts you in the mood to drink whiskey. A tasting of four quality whiskeys will run you $10 and complimentary tours are often given to customers.
Whirlyball

Whirlyball is one of the more unique things to do near Lake Forest Park. What exactly is Whirlyball you ask? It’s a mix of lacrosse, a splash of basketball, and a heavy helping of bumper cars. Two teams are pitted against each other and they compete to score the most points in this ridiculously fun activity.
Courts can be reserved for groups of up to 40 people. There’s no need to fear if you’re hungry or thirsty after fiercely competing, pizza and beverages are served at the facility.
Hamlin Park
Location: 16006 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98155
Hamlin Park comes packed with all the amenities you could want in a park. There’s plenty of open space and trails to ease your mind, playgrounds for the kids, and even public art on display. It’s a perfect place to bring your family, a date, or even just yourself to escape the daily grind of the work week.
Another Castle Arcade
Location: 23303 WA-99 Ste A, Edmonds, WA 98026
Another Castle Arcade gives visitors a blast from the past. A plethora of classic arcade and pinball machines will have you feeling like a kid again. If you bring your kids, they’ll still feel like a kid but one that’s having a lot of fun.
The arcade is open late most nights with the option of purchasing beer available. Our favorite day to visit is Tallboy Tuesday when you can purchase some delicious 16 oz cans of beer for $1.00.
